Nina Mires is currently a paralegal and document specialist at Bashyam Shah Immigration Law Group. She attended Thomas Aquinas College, a small Catholic Great Books college in southern California, and is also a certified NC Paralegal who attended the Meredith College Paralegal Program.
Nina’s great-grandparents (grandfather’s parents) were immigrants from Calabria in southern Italy in the 1920s. Her immigrant great-grandfather worked as a coal miner in West Virginia. Nina loves that immigration law helps people and their families, and loves the supportive team collaboration atmosphere at Bashyam Shah lead by Murali and Rashmi.
Nina enjoys reading, and her favorite genres are fantasy, sci-fi, British classics, East and Central Asian history, and WW2 history. She has been studying Korean since 2013 and is a conversational level Korean speaker who also enjoys watching Korean tv dramas. Nina’s next language challenge is Mandarin, which she has been studying since 2017.
